TH twin-shaft waste shredders

The BT.20 is part of the “Top Heavy” waste shredder range produced by VCM. It features a welded steel frame with a thickness of 50 mm and more.

Shredding is carried out by two counter-rotating rotors with a hexagonal section Ø 280 mm assembled with special tempered steel millstones with a diameter larger than the market average capable of more effectively attacking the incoming material.

Propulsion and bearings are relied on top brand and high quality planetary gearmotors.

BT.20s are true rotary shears designed for processing scrap metal, packed or whole cars.

The four-motor configuration, the interchangeable special-steel shredder blade system, and the overall structure ensure excellent operating standards and reduced maintenance times.

Thanks to their low rotation speed, these mobile shredders can deliver high torque, ensuring excellent performance even when processing difficult materials. Production ranges from 15 to 40 tons per hour.
